Webinar: Design a Data Architecture for Growth and Acquisitions
Carlos Bossy
August 25, 2026
Most data architectures are designed for the organization that exists today. Then the organization acquires another one, and every assumption underneath the model gets tested at once.
Parkview Health Services is a behavioral health specialty pharmacy serving patients across the Tri-State area and is rapidly expanding. Over the course of its work with Datalere, Parkview grew from 5 pharmacies to 15 and from two pharmacy management systems to four, while continuing to deliver the high-touch care model its patients depend on. The data warehouse underneath that growth was extended rather than rebuilt.
Justin Waclawek, COO of Parkview Health Services, and Carlos Bossy, Founder and Chief Data Architect at Datalere, walk through how that architecture was designed, where it was stressed, and what they would do differently. This is a working system rather than a reference diagram, including the decisions that were harder than expected.
