New Data Warehouse Architecture Reduces Repetition and Human Error

New Data Warehouse Architecture Reduces Repetition and Human Error 2017-12-15T19:14:07+00:00

Project Description

A public real estate investment trust (REIT) was devoting far too many business analyst hours to gathering data in spreadsheets, manually managing that data and building reports one at a time. Besides being painfully slow and repetitive, this process was prone to error. The organization needed:

  • A repository for reliable and consistent data
  • Organization-wide internal reporting functionality
  • Financial reporting capability for generating public reports.

We solved this organization’s problems by building out a data warehouse that could easily perform the required reporting functions. We provided ETL templates, architecture plans and documentation to meet the customer’s current and future needs. With the solution in place, this client’s staff can focus on business decision-making rather than on manual and repetitive tasks. In addition, we provide ongoing support and architecture guidance when needed by the customer.
