If you are headed to Seattle for the PASS Summit, not only are you in for a week of intense learning in data platform technology, but you may be looking at a week of networking. The days go by fast, and while you try to schedule what sessions to attend and flip a coin on what you may have to miss, you may also have to schedule after hour events. The Summit week is an opportunity to create, groom, or grow your business network. Thousands of people sharing common interest in data and technology will roam the streets, mostly Pine or Pike streets, to decompress from a full day of concentrated training. While you already know the value of being at PASS to learn, you may want to take advantage of the visit to mingle, meet people and expose your personal brand. Note, Karaoke is taken seriously with these folks, if you’re interested, I have shared a play list of Seattle Sounds, for your travel listening pleasure, or sound check to sing to at these events at the bottom of this post.
