I’m incredibly excited to be a part of SQL Saturday Denver 673 both as a speaker and co-organizer. I will be co-presenting Two Guys and a Transformation: ETL Best Practices and Techniques with Gabe Villa where we’ll be sharing many of our lessons learned from decades of developing ETL solutions.
We’ll cover core areas of any ETL project such as (but not limited to):
- Maintainability (Patterns, Logging, Documentation)
- Performance (Blocking Transformations, Staging)
- Auditing and Testing (Managing Bad Data, Testing, Validation)
This year’s SQL Saturday Denver 673, we had 96 sessions submitted by over 40 speakers, many of who will be presenting at the upcoming PASS Summit in November. With just under a week left, we have over 350 registered attendees and is turning out to be our biggest event yet!
