Six Hundred and Seven SQL Saturday’s ago, I presented for the first time at the first Colorado Springs SQL Saturday. Ever since, I have been fortunate to be part of the PASS (Professional Association for SQL Server) community and have presented in numerous SQL Saturdays. Among them, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake, Albuquerque and El Paso, just to name a few. Of course, Denver SQL Saturday is among the regular stomping grounds where I have presented or attended. Next month, Denver will hold the 673rd SQL Saturday at University of Denver, and I will be presenting.
Why attend Denver SQL Saturday
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of material that is presented at a Denver SQL Saturday event, and for free, nonetheless. SQL Saturdays were set up by the community for the community, to enlighten the learner of tips, tricks and new features having to do with the Microsoft (and sometimes vendor agnostic) Data stacks. This SQL Saturday #673 event, I am happy to be co-presenting with Marc Beacom. Marc and I go back to the days I first participated at PASS events and we have organized other technical events together in the past.
Saturday, September 16th, join us for a session on ETL best practices, Two Guys and a Transformation. With the collective experience in the IT industry, we hope to discusses cases and share our lessons learned. Attending the event will enable you to not only choose from over 35 sessions, but network and meet new people who work in similar professions. I owe a great deal to events like these in that I have learned a great deal and have expanded my network.
